Some collaborations last a year. Ours tend to last decades. The projects below are the ones we have grown with — systems that started small, became business-critical, and are still evolving with the teams that rely on them every day.
Across media buying, architecture and engineering, and oncology care, the pattern is the same: understand the business first, then build software that fits the way people actually work — and keep improving it long after go-live.
These are their stories.
01 · Media & Advertising
Diray Media
ERP for Media Buying and Selling
One of our earliest and longest collaborations. Their ERP has been running for over 20 years, and for the last 12 our team has been helping Diray improve it. It started in FileMaker, but has since evolved into so much more. With a data warehouse in Amazon RDS, custom data reporting in JasperReports, and ETL jobs — which we work on together with another team — bringing millions of records from hundreds of vendors monthly, first into Amazon and then into FileMaker, the solutions built in FileMaker are still the backbone of everything. And it keeps growing as we make more integrations and build better tools for users to ease workflows and automate processes.
We are working closely with Diray to integrate all departments and their tools. The accounting department needed the invoicing system integrated with QuickBooks Online. Client Services needed their workflows integrated with Microsoft Teams, and a custom Workflow Management tool to mirror what they had been doing in Monday.com.
02 · Architecture & Engineering
Projekt Pro
Vertical ERP for Architects, Engineers and Planners
The largest Claris FileMaker client in Europe. A complex vertical solution deployed to thousands of clients, specifically designed for architects, engineers, and planners. Moving to the cloud from on-premise hosting opened up a lot of problems, especially related to performance. Our know-how has helped cut down processing time for tasks, improved the stability of the software, and helped modernise the UI and workflows for this mammoth software. Now we are working as part of the development team to add extra functionality like XRechnung (Germany's electronic invoicing standard), web apps that provide a UI for users but work on the data in FileMaker, and so much more.
The biggest challenge: the software is written mostly in German — from tables and fields to scripting and comments. Even without a single teammate proficient in German, our development team has managed to make this a small detail rather than a showstopper for development.
03 · Medical Sector
Medisprof
ERP (idsClinic) for an Oncology Hospital
We have been developing our flagship product for clinics and hospitals since the early days of our company. Through our excellent collaboration with Medisprof, we managed to improve it to a level where it can be used by a large hospital across dozens of medical modules and all departments. From a complex EHR system that stores all the personal and medical data of patients, to modern reporting of medical and accounting data, integration with POS for payments and accounting software, call centre scheduling, API integrations with laboratories for lab results, and so much more. We are looking forward to seeing how idsClinic can revolutionise the health sector.
Long-Term Partnership
Ongoing Support for Clients
One constant in software development is the need for ongoing support. Many clients rely on software they started using and customising years, or even decades, ago, and being able to depend on it is crucial to their daily operations.
Here at IDS we understand that, and we aim to provide our clients with the support and know-how they need — we continue servicing every single client we have worked with.
of the clients we have ever worked with are still supported by our team.
